Falcon Enamelware Tumbler Pale Lilac - Limited Edition
Since the 1920's Falcon Enamelware has been an icon of British Home Life.
Originally manufactured in the Black Country area near Birmingham, England, Joe Kleiner & Sons created the original enamelware brand, distinctively ice-white with the blue rim, the classic design is still instantly recognisable to this day.
In 2011, the original collection was revitalised – creating new colours and cookware sets along with increasing the gauge of the classic mug, making the products more durable and hard wearing.
As well as timeless elegance, Falcon Enamelware has enduring strength. Enamelware is porcelain fused onto heavy-gauge steel, giving it many admirable qualities - durability, smoothness and chemical-resistance. It can assume brilliant, long-lasting colours, and cannot burn. If you drop it, it may chip but it won’t break.
Can I use Falcon Enamelware on the hob?
Yes. Falcon is oven-safe up to 530F / 270C and can be used on gas and electric hobs.
Can I use Falcon Enamelware in the freezer?
Yes. Falcon is freezer safe, just allow the required time for defrosting before placing the product in the oven.
Can I use Falcon Enamelware in the microwave?
No, do not use any Falcon enamelware product in the microwave, because our products are made of glass fused onto heavy gauge steel it is not possible to use them to cook or re-heat any food in the microwave.
How can I clean my Falcon Enamelware?
Lemon juice can remove stains from Falcon enamelware products, such as tea stains on mugs. Soaking the products in warm soapy water will help remove baked on food, but avoid using abrasive sponges or brushes as this may scratch the surface. Coating your pans in a light layer of oil before cooking can help with cleaning after use.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes, all Falcon Enamelware is dishwasher safe. Watch Falcon enamelware video:
If my enamelware chips can I still use it?
Yes. Just like any other ceramic, the outer porcelain layer can chip if dropped, revealing the steel beneath it. When this happens the steel below naturally oxidises and the enamelware remains safe to use. Plus, in our opinion, it gains a little more character.
Details: Pale Lilac Limited Edition Tumbler is 9 cm tall and holds 310ml.
