These are the times when we pause, reflect, and retreat from the constant movement of the world. How to practise: Slow down, rest, read, sleep and eat well. Make your home comfortable, the cold makes you look for ways to keep you warm with woollen sweaters and blankets the darkness makes you light candles. The soft flickering flames from candles create a harmonious atmosphere combating darkness in a soft way. Rejuvenating with long warm baths infused with lovely bath salts and soaps and hydrating with creamy lotions that will keep your winter skin soft and glowing.
Winter gives you the opportunity to change pace and bring with it many little moments of joy. Long slow walks and coffee breaks.... that sweet treat you like ... just little bit more time to take care of yourself.
