In occasion of Kaj Franck's 100th Anniversary year, Iittala did resume the pro­duction of the thin Kartio tumblers. These Kartio tumblers are based on the original design by Kaj Franck and, according to it, are thinner version than the current ones, The Kartio glassware series channels the pure essence of Franck’s philosophy into what was an object of continuous fascination for the ar­tist: the everyday drinking glass.

What started as a glass factory in Iittala, Finland, now celebrates generations of essential objects that are made to enrich people’s everyday lives.
