French Market Basket Short Handles

A genuine “French market basket”, so called because, although made in Morocco, it is the go to basket for the Frenchwomen for her daily market shopping. 

Morocco was a French Colony until its independence in 1956 but the first exchanges occurred between the two countries in the 8th Century so they have had a long association!

A perfect utility basket; we use ours every day for grocery shopping and comes very handy on picnics, travel, beach.....endless uses.

Details: The basket is handmade so some size and colour may occur. Hand woven from the leaves of the date palm. Leather handles.
